That’s a wrap! Deadpool 3 has finally wrapped up after being delayed last year due to the strike.
After a 2023 filled with delays due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, which shut down the film in mid-July after completing around two months of filming in London, it looks like Deadpool 3 has finally finished filming.
In an Instagram post, Ryan Reynolds, who stars as Deadpool and is also a producer and co-writer said: “The suit hides blood. Also sweat … But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears,” “ He also went on to thank co-star Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy.
Jackman, who stars as Wolverine, shared his own Instagram post, writing, “What a ride! I’ve loved every minute of making this movie. Well … not the 4a training or the steamed fish and veg 4 x a day for 6 months but the other 93.2%. A collective thank you to the entire cast and crew. You are all aces!”
Deadpool 3 is set to hit theaters July 26, 2024. Make sure to check back for new posters and the official trailer drop as we get closer to the release date!
