Ready to go hunting? Dan Trachtenberg is set to direct the newest installment in the ‘Predator’ franchise.
It looks like filmmaker Dan Trachtenberg, who earned an Emmy nomination for his 2022 Predator movie Prey, will be directing the newest addition to the franchise, titled Badlands.
While we don’t know much about the plot of Badlands, we do know that it won’t be a sequel to Prey but will have its own new story set in the future. It will also feature a female lead, as Prey did.
Also similar to Prey, Trachtenberg wrote the story alongside Patrick Aison with the latter writing the screenplay. As of now, they are aiming to start production in July of this year, though the location is still unknown.
