What’s billed as the franchise’s final installment, The Conjuring 4 has finally secured a director. Michael Chaves, who directed the previous installment The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and last year’s spin-off, The Nun II, will come back to direct the new movie.
Series creator James Wan is also back as a producer, alongside Peter Safran, while the screenplay has been written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick who co-wrote the previous movie along with Wan.
Not much is known about the plot of the new movie but we do know we will of course see our favorite supernatural investigators, Ed and Lorrain Warren played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, face off against demons and the unknown.
As of now, they are eyeing a summer shoot in Atlanta. Make sure to check back as more information is released along the way.
