Julia Garner joins Christopher Abbott to star in ‘Wolf Man’ for Blumhouse, Universal.
Julia Garner is the second person cast for Universal’s newest classic monster film and will star alongside Christopher Abbott as parents whose family is terrorized by an aggressive and deadly creature.
The pair previously worked together in the 2011 drama Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene, which was Garner’s first professional acting gig.
Wolf Man, is a remake of Universal’s 1941 classic monster movie by the same name. As of now, not much is known about the remake, but the original movie followed a man named Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney Jr.) who killed a wolf in Wales, only to learn that it was actually a man who then passed the curse of werewolfism onto him.
So far, the film has had a rough start since being confirmed in 2020. Ryan Gosling was initially cast for Abbott’s part but has since pulled out along with the original director.
