Things are continually getting worse for Jonathon Majors. Today it was reported that he was dropped from upcoming Dennis Rodman feature 48 Hours in Vegas.
Lionsgate has announced that it will no longer be developing the film and the project will now be shopped to other potential buyers.
48 Hours in Vegas features a script from Jordan VanDina that focuses on Chicago Bulls forward Rodman taking a mind-clearing trip to Las Vegas during the 1998 NBA Finals. The getaway for Rodman, who joined the NBA Hall of Fame in 2011 and was known for his outlandish behavior and attire, was featured in the Michael Jordan-centric ESPN docuseries The Last Dance that aired in 2020.
This news comes just weeks before Major’s sentencing for the assault and harassment charges he was found guilty of.
